Did you see the day coming in which we'd be experimenting with powering cars with water and air? We did not. This freight train of change is unbelievably exciting. Audi is a great car co. No doubt they will power their future cars in a clean manner but will not sacrifice quality or performance.
What a great produce name, too: e-diesel.
Note, too, the related story on clean energy's growth despite cheaper fossil fuel. That is direct evidence that we are committed to weaning ourselves off of traditional fuels, and confirms renewables competitiveness on pricing and costs.
Researchers at Audi are making synthetic diesel fuel using only water and air. Miracle? No. Science.
The German automaker announced it has created the first batch of liquid "e-diesel" at a research facility in Dresden. The clear fuel is produced through a "power to liquid" process, masterminded by the German clean tech company and Audi partner Sunfire.
