Willow Tree's goal to cut back on resource use
"From their high-efficiency diesel vans to their gas-powered inline cooker, there is only the fraction of a carbon footprint from Willow Tree Chicken Farm.
From a business perspective, it's good to go green," said President Wally Cekala. "This is the tip of the iceberg, I feel."
Although Willow Tree has always prided themselves on doing its part to be environmentally friendly, the company's goal to go completely "green" has almost been reached, he said.
Cekala says no idea is off the table, and that his 90 employees are happy to take their own steps to be green...."
