Radio Show today

We will finish yesterday's story on investing in our water a little later today.

In the meantime we are happy to welcome Charity Pennock from the New England Clean Energy Council to our radio show today (12-1p, WARL 1320AM, and on their stream, and Blog Talk Radio, Renewable Now channel).  Here's some background on NECEC and Charity:

The New England Clean Energy Council’s mission is to accelerate New England’s clean energy economy to global leadership by building an active community of stakeholders and a world-class cluster of clean energy companies.
The New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC, a 501c6 trade member organization) was founded in 2006 and has had a significant impact on the emergence and growth of a vibrant clean energy cluster in New England—and on national clean energy initiatives as well.  NECEC is the lead voice for hundreds of clean energy companies across New England, influencing the energy policy agenda and growing the clean energy economy.  Our sister organization, the New England Clean Energy Foundation (NECEF, a 501c3) has quickly become a leader in Cluster Development, Research and Development, Innovation, Workforce Development and related programs.  Combining forces in policy and planning, NECEF is addressing clean energy cluster gaps and accelerating the innovation pipeline across New England.

Charity is the Segment Development Program Manager and the Rhode Island State Coordinator of the New England Clean Energy Council, joining the organization in October of 2012. Charity has spent much of her career focused on the intersection of economic development and clean technology.
Prior to joining NECEC, Charity worked as a Clean Technology Fellow for Southern Growth Policies Board (SGPB) and the Project Coordinator for the Southeast Agriculture & Forestry Energy Resources Alliance (SAFER). In both of these roles, Charity managed multi-state networks, conducted original research on clean technology business development at the state level, and facilitated SGPB and SAFER’s work towards the development of the clean economy in 14 states across the Southeast United States.

Enjoy the show.  The show will be archived and available 24/7 on Blog Talk by tomorrow.
