We just posted a great You Tube video on the work being done by Glory to God International in Nigeria. One of the things we love about this story, and you will hear this on a future radio show, is that the mats they are laying on in the video is made from plastic bags taken from shopping centers and stitched into these floor mats.
If you believe that our passion for sustainability, and the economics around it, will bring social and financial equity to the world, building a whole new green, global system of jobs and commerce, than you will love this story.
Watch the video on this blog. It is now the top one. More on the story here:
Here's a little of the story you will hear. God Bless:
Jim was told later by Solomon that many have offered to help the Orphans in this camp but that GTGIM has been the only one to consistently water their garden. We know that is because God has consistently watered our garden to give through people just like you. Bless you each again and again for all you do through prayer and or giving of resources. We are honored by your trust and by what God has entrusted to us.
Again as only God could time, right before Jim left he was contacted by a dear friend who shared that his daughter was making mats out of used plastic grocery bags and wondered if the children's camp would be interested in these mats for the orphans to sleep on. Next thing we know we are meeting a precious young woman named Brandi who brought with her several mats she had made from those plastic bags we get at the grocery store to carry our groceries in.
