The Arctic is a place to watch as we look at natural conditions changing rapidly. Our greatest environmental and economic skills going forward may very well center on quickly shifting and adapting to very different physical conditions. Of course that brings risk but opportunities as well.
All of the planet is witnessing a flip-flop of eco assets and liabilities. How we manage that transformation, how we convert liabilities to assets (such as carbon capture and reuse) and how efficient our communities become in moving, bracing, shifting will dictate much of our future success or failure.
